Unveiled in May of 2016, the Asus Zenfone 3 is a flagship 5.5-incher that fails to deliver a Quad HD screen and does not go beyond the typical (among high-end devices) 3000mAh power threshold , yet packs a high-ranking set of pros and cons notwithstanding.

Among its hardware specs are a 2GHz 64-bit 14nm Snapdragon 625 eight-core CPU , an Adreno 506 graphics engine , and a whopping 4GB LPDDR3 RAM . It offers a 64GB maximum eMCP inbuilt memory , while a 360-degree-rational fingerprint detector buffs up its security capabilities.

As for its multimedia offering, the Zenfone 3 comes with pros like a 16-megapixel 4K-video sapphire-lens camera with TriTech laser autofocus , an 8-megapixel selfie camera with real-time beautification , and Asus's SonicMaster 3.0 audio software coupled with a 5-magnet speaker .

Topping off this high-end contender is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform skinned with the ZenUI v3.0, giving it the fitting signature that an Asus flagship needs.
