- Analysis by KJ David
Even though it adds Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Full HD video recording (it has a 5-megapixel main camera) to the Dash M's arsenal, many of the BLU Dash M2's specs potentially make it an unfavorable bargain for 2016 shoppers.
Among its cons are a 3G-only network reach, which consequently promises only up to 21Mbps data rates , a sub-standard 5-inch FWVGA-480p screen , and only 512MB of RAM -- the original Dash M has a 768MB RAM. Adding to our disappointment is its 2-megapixel selfie cam , which may be better than the VGA cams of old, but is definitely less-engaging than the 5-megapixel shooters on many similar models.
The Dash M2's only apparent pro is its anodized aluminum casing that reminds us of a few flagship-tier Androids, but we doubt its pros and cons make it beyond the low-end Android spectrum.
