BLU Neo X LTE Review & Pros And Cons

The BLU Neo X LTE may be an LTE-capable follow-up to the slight-older model of the same name, but just like its sibling, it brings nothing new to the entry-level table.

Its biggest cons include a sub-standard 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) 196ppi-only display and a highly-disappointing (by today's standards) 2-megapixel frontal camera . Moreover, it runs on a low-end 1GHz quad-core CPU alongside a meager 1GB RAM , consequently exhibiting no difference from a ton of its 3G-only rivals in terms of hardware specs. Its pros, other than a 4G adapter, come in the form of a leather back pattern and an 8GB memory expandable by up to 64GB -- the latter at least outstripping the mere 4GB storage cap of its base model. It also raises the formerly-2000mAh battery capacity to a more-tolerable 2500mAh .

As we have learned from its pros and cons, the Neo X LTE is a modest Android that calls out to those who simply want a low-cost, 4G-capable smartphone.
