The Vivo XL2 is by all means an affordable phone, but it certainly doesn't look cheap. Amplifying the high-class appeal given off by its metallic back cover 
, its curved Corning Gorilla Glass display makes it appear just as premium-grade at the front.
Its imaging pros and cons, however, would quickly bring the realization that this is still a lower-mid-end device, after all. Its 13-megapixel main camera is nothing more than a reasonable amount of resolution 
, but its 8-megapixel selfie shooter is promising for its market range.
The Vivo XL2 has all the good boxes checked design-wise, save for its bulkiness factor. It's thicker than similarly-priced models at 9.2mm . In addition, its 9.1 mm thickness makes it come in second only to the BLU Studio XL 2 in the weight comparison below. Note, however, that the latter is a comparably-bigger phablet with a 6-inch display.

In terms of performance, the BLU Vivo XL2 isn't a powerhouse at any rate, but its specs suit its target market niche. Its 3GB RAM is a bit more persuasive than other models', but this is quickly offset by a four-core 1.4GHz CPU , which is average at best. Nonetheless, it brings in a fairly-attractive amount of native storage, as 32GB is more than what we usually see among its competitors in the context of March 2017.

As for display pros and cons, it doesn't miss out on an HD resolution. However, combining this with its 5.5-inch screen brings down its display fineness to a not-so-impressive 267 DPI .
These show us that although the BLU Vivo XL 2 sports some pretty competitive camera features, it's not likely to satisfy highly-discriminating multimedia junkies due to its display. At its price range, however, it does bring some pretty promising aesthetics and memory specs to the table, save for the issue that might be raised by its relatively-thick silhouette.
