Gionee S6 Pros & Cons Review

Though its lack of 4K video recording (only Full HD at best) and HD 720p screen resolution (instead of 1080p) are a couple of disturbing cons, the Gionee S6 manages to level with many high-end Androids in several other aspects. These include processing, as it packs a 3GB RAM alongside an octa-core 64-bit processor , though its CPU clocks in at only 1.3GHz . Its metal-based body is also home to a 13-megapixel camera, with features like PDAF (phase-detection autofocus) and a professional camera mode at the ready. Moreover, the S6 features the USB Type-C protocol , which we have only seen on a handful of other 2015 high-enders. For its power supply, a 3150mAh battery resides in the engine room, which we think is a passable match for a high-end 5.5-inch model with a few pardonable flaws.
