Kyocera DuraForce XD Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Kyocera DuraForce XD, by Kyocera

- Analysis by KJ David

Rocking 5.7 inches of HD (720p) -- 1080p (Full HD) would have been better though -- screen real estate, Kyocera's DuraForce XD is one of their largest yet, also listing pros like a dual-speaker setup (up to 110dB) and Enhanced Push-to-Talk under its belt. An array of rugged features , including IP68 (waterproofing) and MIL-STD-810G certifications (shock-resistance) also deck out its large physique, with a similarly-robust 3700mAh battery in the engine room. The DuraForce XD also should survive workplaces with concentrated amounts of flammable gases or mists , being classified as Non-incendive, Class I, Division 2, but don't expect high-end imaging to come out of this pitch.

Simply put, this phablet is a typical Kyocera device with a widened display.
