The A97, a Marshmallow-sporting 2016 Android from Indian brand Lava, is aimed at entry-level shoppers, with cons like an unimpressive 1GB RAM 
and a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display among its specs. Additionally, its 5-megapixel camera only records HD-720p videos at best , while, in comparison, plenty of other models in this department offer Full HD (1080p) video-recording.
The A97 also has its selling points (aka pros), though, one of which is its 5-megapixel front-facing camera equipped with an LED flash for selfies 
, an effort that most other low-caliber smartphones do not exert. It also manages to squeeze LTE connectivity and, consequently, the VoLTE in-call audio technology into its bundle of pros and cons.
Rounding out the Lava A97 are a 2350mAh battery and 8GB of on-board memory, which we would say sound just about right, given its practical target buyers.
