Lava V5 Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Lava's 5.5-inch V5 may suffer from cons like a basic 1.3GHz quad-core processor (typical among entry-level devices) and an HD-only (720p) screen resolution (a Full HD definition is more acceptable for its screen size), but it does not lack a few noteworthy specs.

Its pros consist of a robust 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and a 3000mAh battery capacity , both of which we would sooner expect from full-fledged high-end Androids, before a middle-class phablet like the Lava V5. In addition, its facade is graced by an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a 4-layer lens and an LED flash , while a more-advanced dual-LED-flash PDAF 13-megapixel main camera sits at the back.

Capping off its pros and cons is a comfortably-low 0.145 SAR rating (0.266 body SAR) and a Gorilla Glass 3 screen finish , which highly-welcome niceties on a 3GB-RAM 2016 Android.
