Lenovo A Plus Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Lenovo A Plus, by Lenovo

- Analysis by KJ David

Lenovo's 2016 A Plus is the definition of an introductory smartphone, suffering from a low-resolution 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) TN display and a puny 2-megapixel-only selfie camera . Other typical low-end cons, such as a 2000mAh battery capacity , a 3G-only network connectivity , and only 1GB of RAM join its specs as well.

This quad-core (1.3GHz) Android's remaining features include an 8GB internal memory expandable by a maximum of 32GB , which sounds like a pro versus the 4GB memories offered by lots of other cheap smartphones. It also comes with two micro SIM card slots and a flash-equipped 5-megapixel camera (many of its rivals have no camera flash), although the Lenovo A's camera goes without the autofocus we now take for granted .

In a nutshell, though it sounds like a decent purchase if you are only just looking for your first Android phone, we found no significant pluses among the Lenovo A Plus's pros and cons.
