- Analysis by KJ David
As made obvious by its name, the Lumia 950 XL is a wider-screen (5.7-inch QHD, 518ppi) version of Microsoft's 2015 flagship Windows 10 pitch, but that's not the only difference, as this model comes with a Gorilla Glass 4 finish (instead of the 950's Gorilla Glass 3) and runs on an eight-core 2GHz processor (instead of the 950's hexa-core 1.8GHz chip).
As for the similarities, Windows Continuum , which lets the 950 XL put you in a PC-like setup via the Display Dock, is still a large part of its pros and cons. It also offers the Windows Hello Beta facial recognition feature, a triple-LED-flash 20-megapixel camera , and a USB Type-C interface .
Despite its slightly-higher battery capacity at 3340mAh, we still think the 950 XL needs more . We even expected something higher than a 3GB RAM , but those cons will likely get outweighed by its bevy of flagship-class pros.
