Oppo F1 Plus Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Essentially a step-up model of the selfie-oriented F1, the Oppo F1 Plus replaces the Snapdragon 616 CPU with a 2GHz octa-core Helio P10 chip from MediaTek and bumps up the 5-inch HD display to a Full HD interface standing at 5.5 inches . That said, it could have rocked a Quad HD definition , considering its high-ranking processor.

On a different note, its 2850mAh power cap , though slightly-higher than the F1's 2500mAh, is not as reassuring as the high-end 3000mAh sweet spot as of its release, but at least the VOOC Flash Charging technology is on board.

Those hardware specs aside, the centerpiece of the F1 Plus's array of pros and cons is its pair of cameras, particularly, a 13-megapixel FHD-video rear camera and a rarely-high-resolution 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie shooter . Accompanying them is a promising 4GB RAM and 64GB of memory , both of which are upgrades over the F1's RAM and storage caps as well.

The F1 Plus's offering also includes a fingerprint scanner and dual nano SIM card slots, which are appreciable sprinkles on its upmarket feature set.
