Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, by Sony

Sony seems to have worked hard to make you want to play with the Xperia T2 Ultra. It fitted the 0.30-inch (relatively thin) phablet with a 6-inch 1280 x 720 Triluminos display (same technology as the Bravia TVs) that sports the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology said to reduce noise and enhance sharpness. This is joined by a 13-megapixel camera with Sony's version of the backside-illuminated sensor called the Exmor RS and a Stamina mode on its 3000mAh battery that is designed to increase battery life by turning off inactive functions.

But it looks like Sony made some compromises too. For instance, the Android 4.3 device has a quad-core Snapdragon processor that clocks at an underwhelming 1.4GHz, and it only has 1GB of RAM (most phablets have 2GB) and 4.8GB of storage memory. Perhaps Sony thinks the mid-range price will leave you with enough to purchase a 32GB microSD card anyway?
