Though still stuck with a Full HD resolution (rather than a Quad HD upgrade) on its 5.5-inch screen and a Full HD maximum video capture resolution (lots of other high-end Androids capture 4K videos), the third installment of Xiaomi's Redmi Note series comes with several pros over its predecessor. These include fingerprint user identification , a 4000mAh battery (the Note 2 had a 3060mAh capacity), and a dual-LED color temperature flash (13-megapixel camera). It also brings back the 64-bit Helio X10 eight-core chip from MediaTek , but this time comes with a high version rigged with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory -- the standard version follows the Note 2's 2GB/16GB RAM/memory setup.

To sum things up, the Redmi Note 3's pros and cons fall short of premium space, but it does take Xiaomi's Android family a step forward.
