LG Tribute HD Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the LG Tribute HD, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

Even though it relies on a basic 1.3GHz quad-core processor and comes with only 2100mAh of power , both of which are familiar low-end cons, the LG Tribute HD's pros certainly put it above all older Tribute models.

As made obvious by its name, it upgrades the Tribute 5's (its direct predecessor) mere FWVGA-480p interface to a 5-inch HD-720p screen . It also comes with 16GB of internal storage and a 5-megapixel gesture-supporting selfie camera , which not many budget-class models offered when it came out. Additionally, the 900-minute talk time promised by its meager battery pack as well as the 1.5GB RAM (most others in this class stick to only 1GB in comparison) do not sound too shabby. Joining its pros and cons are a so-so 8-megapixel HD-video main camera and full-blown 4G LTE connectivity .

In review, even though the Tribute HD pays tribute to its low-caliber lineage, its specs include some mid-range treats that its entry-level target buyers will likely appreciate.
