Apple finally escapes the 4-inch display territory with the iPhone 6 Plus' 5.5-inch Retina HD display -- which we assume to be their response to more generous screens from Android-run flagships (HTC One M8, LG G3, etc.). Software-wise, Apple lives up to their innovative brand image, packing the iPhone 6 Plus with the Apple Pay mobile payment system, as well as support from big gaming companies, including EA and Disney Studios. As expected, Apple gives a bump to camera details (8-megapixel camera), this time including the Focus Pixels technology and FaceTime HD in its pretty wide array of features.
Despite sporting a relatively new build of their proprietary processor (Apple A8, dual-core), the iPhone 6 Plus could still see some tough competition given the rapid growth of the octa-core market. The lack of a microSD card slot it also a slight setback, tough a 64GB and a 128GB version are expected to be released.
Our verdict? At the end of the day, Apple might have packed enough (perhaps even more) in the iPhone 6 Plus to tip the market scale back to their favor... or at least counteract some of that Android dominance.
