BlackBerry Porsche Design P9982 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the BlackBerry Porsche Design P9982, by BlackBerry

Blackberry seems to have (again!) decided to throw modesty out the window when it reunited with Porsche Design to work on the Blackberry Porsche Design P9982 (even the name is a mouthful). The BlackBerry 10 smartphone is housed in a satin-finished stainless steel with a hand-made Italian leather back panel, it comes with a BBM PIN that is exclusive to P9982 (probably to enhance the crme de la crme vibe), and it sets you back a couple thousand dollars give or take. It improved on some of the specs of the P9981 (from the BB 7 to the BB 10 OS, from 8GB to 64GB of onboard memory, from a 1.2GHz to a 1.5GHz processor, from a 5-megapixel to an 8-megapixel camera, and from 768MB to 2GB RAM), although not enough for it to qualify to the high-end class, but it seems to be the rule with luxury phones: They come with a lot of jewels... and generally average specs. To be fair, these specs are still nothing to sneeze at, but if you disagree... gesundheit!.
