Homtom HT17 Pros & Cons Review

Released under DOOGEE's Homtom sub-brand (a lineup of high-stamina Androids), the mass-tier Homtom HT17 lugs a 3000mAh battery , but suffers from cons like an HD-720p-only 5.5-inch display and a phone book capacity that apparently caps off at 500 entries -- though it seems unlikely, given that this is an Android phone. It also opts for a plastic shell material , which sounds off-putting versus some of its competitors' metal housings, and settles for a low-class 1.1GHz quad-core CPU paired up with only 1GB of RAM .

On the flip side, the HT17's pros (other than its power cell) include a fingerprint reader , which sits right below its primary camera -- an 8-megapixel cam interpolated to 13 megapixels . A 128GB microSD card slot (8GB inbuilt memory) and 4G LTE connectivity join its specifications as well.

So, as far as pros and cons are concerned, the HT17 is a budget-class Android for users who prioritize endurance and security the most.
