HTC Butterfly 2 Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the HTC Butterfly 2, by HTC

- Analysis by KJ David

While the HTC Butterfly clearly had a mid-range offering, its sequel appears to be a high-end Android-HTC-run model, with a similar 5-inch display. From 8 and 2.1 megapixels, the Butterfly 2 now has 13- and 5-megapixel cameras -- both capturing 1080p videos. Another obvious improvement is processor clock speed, as the Butterfly 2 runs on a quad-core processor clocked in at 2.5GHz, which remind us of Samsung's Galaxy S5 flagship. The promise of louder and clearer audio via HTC BoomSound also sounds interesting. The Butterfly 2 comes equipped with the dual-purpose Dot View protective case, which we believe adds an extra layer of sophistication to this high-end update to the Butterfly series.
