For entry-level HTC fans, the Desire 612's XLTE connectivity, 8-megapixel camera and quad-core processor might sound quite appealing. This 4.7-inch model also appears to be a cheaper ticket to HTC's signature features - BoomSound and BlinkFeed being the more notable ones. Among its camera features is the Zoe, allowing you to create instant highlights after snapping pictures or recording videos. Its battery is rated at 2040mAh, while the internal storage caps off at 8GB -- both quite more than what we see on other smartphones pitched as entry-level devices. Perhaps the Desire 612 could have kept up with other 2014 Androids in terms of display resolution, but its other specs make it quite passable nonetheless.
