The HTC One M9s dials down its mother model's pros and cons a notch, losing the 3GB RAM for only a 2GB capacity 
and the 20-megapixel camera for one standing at 13 megapixels , though high-tech features like the optical anti-shake technology 
and a sapphire lens cover deck it out pretty nicely. We would have loved to see the 4K video capacity sticking around , however. Another difference is the M9s's Helio X10 2.2GHz 64-bit processor , which seems to be on par with the base model's Qualcomm chip.
All other aspects seem to be similar between both M9 variants, including its 5-inch Full HD screen, Dolby plus BoomSound audio system , and 2840mAh battery. The HTC UltraPixel selfie camera comes back for the M9s, too. Also, the One M9s boasts the highest memory expansion support available to manufacturers as of its release at roughly 2000GB (2TB) , though losing some RAM and imaging power might not be worth it for some users.
