While it has the typical niceties (pros) of a high-end HTC handset, we caught a couple of cons among the 5.5-inch Gorilla-Glass-protected 
One X9's specifications, including its Full HD screen resolution 
, as lots of comparable models tout Quad HD interfaces. In addition, its 5-megapixel front cam is limited to a fixed-focus capacity , whereas several other high-enders have selfie cams graced by dedicated autofocus and flash functions.
Heading over to its selling points, the X9 boasts the processing potential of MediaTek's eight-core 64-bit Helio X10 processor alongside 3GB's worth of RAM , a 32GB memory expandable by up to 2TB, and a 3000mAh battery . It also features a blend of Dolby Audio and HTC BoomSound, complemented by a familiar dual-frontal-speaker setup. Lastly, the One X9's 13-megapixel main camera lugs high-end functions like OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a dual LED flash .
So, the HTC One X9 might not pack a fully-premium set of pros and cons, but it does seem like more than a nice opener for the brand's 2016 calendar.
