Even with a user interface (Emotion UI) that Huawei swears improves on its stock Android 4.1, it is hard to imagine the 1.2GHz dual-core Ascend G510 rising to the top of its mid-range class. Its 4.5-inch IPS display has a 854 x 480 resolution (not even at least 960 x 540). Its 1750mAh battery - which Huawei says is equipped with its power-saving technology - has a listed talk time of only 348 minutes or around 5 hours (most smartphones in its class have 400plus minutes). The rest of the numbers are just as decent, but unassuming: 4GB of onboard memory, 512MB RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera. It also does not offer LTE support.
