With its 3.5-inch 480 x 320 screen, VGA camera, 1350mAh battery, and 256MB RAM, it is entirely possible that the Huawei Ascend Y220 could be lost in a pack of basic smartphones. But with a dual-core 28-nanometer processor (which Huawei says means more precision and lower power consumption) running at 1GHz, maybe it could outdistance some of them. It may also help that there is an option to stretch its meager 512MB memory up to 32GB. The HSPA+ support (with a download speed of 21Mbps) is a nice touch too (for the entry-level category).
