Does S stand for special? Because the Huawei Mate S is apparently one of the Chinese brand's most special Androids -- as of its August 2015 announcement.
This 5.5-incher's selection of pros and cons is led by a Fingerprint 2.0 track pad 
and the Knuckle 2.0 knuckle-navigation software . It is also loaded with functions like Smart Recording (via 3 microphones), Smart Wireless Printing, and Document Correction . These features can be accessed via its 2.5D-glass On-cell AMOLED screen , though we wish it rocked a Quad HD (2160p) resolution instead of Full HD (1080p)

Off to its hardware, the Mate S is driven by a Hisilicon Kirin 935 64-bit split-octa-core system assisted by a 3GB RAM and a 2700mAh battery -- we have seen some lesser-specked phones with larger power-caps. Its camera pair consists of a 13-megapixel sapphire-lens rear camera and an 8-megapixel one up front.
In essence, Huawei hits a premium-tier shot with the Mate S, possibly finding its soul mate in techies like you.
