What seems to be its strength -- being a well-rounded budget Android -- might also be its downfall, as the Huawei Y635's pros and cons bring nothing new to the entry-level table.
It offers a pretty modest (by 2015 standards) 2-megapixel selfie camera 
and is only decent with its 5-megapixel rear sensor. Its 5-inch screen might not also be as crisp as some rivals with only an FWVGA resolution . As for its pros, the Y635 offers up to 150Mbps data rates on 4G LTE networks 
, which is something that many other 2015 low-end models forget. Huawei's EMUI 3.0 also blends with its Android KitKat OS nicely, giving it a bit of distinction from competitors.
Even though it has some lapses, the Y635 still sounds like an all-around starter smartphone.
