Huawei Y6 II Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

The Huawei Y6 II, which apparently also goes by Honor Holly 3, delivers a mix of mid- and high-end features (as of 2016), including pros like an eight-core Kirin 620 processor running at 1.2GHz and a 13-megapixel f/2.0 FHD-video primary camera .

Sadly, its cons include a 5.5-inch display with a relatively-modest HD-720p resolution and it only has 2GB of RAM , the latter obviously falling short versus some of its middle-class rivals' 3GB RAMs. We are also slightly disheartened by its surprisingly-high 1.39 w/Kg body SAR rating (CAM-L21), while the head rating is quite below the average, at 0.4 (Should you wear it on a head band?)

That said, it does feature a respectable 3000mAh battery and a 16GB memory that can be expanded by up to 128GB . Moreover, it sports an 8-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera as well as a finish of either metallic cross-stripes or high-gloss , with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform alongside the EMUI 4.1 tying its pros and cons together.

In review, the Y6 II's specs make it a 5.5-incher for users who want a taste of octa-core processing, but aren't ready to go for a fully-high-end device just yet.
