Apart from its standalone, open-source Sailfish OS v2.0 (mainly for mobile developers), which is compatible with most Android applications, the 5-inch HD 294ppi Jolla C's specs are not that different from those of most other low-end Android-run smartphones.
It settles for a 2-megapixel selfie camera and an uninspiring 1.3GHz quad-core processor , but it also comes with a 16GB memory as well as a 2GB RAM. Its 8-megapixel rear camera also sounds like a pro , considering that tons of other entry-level smartphones only have 5-megapixel cams. Also, we found its 2500mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity satisfactory for a 2016 mass-tier release.
All that said, the Jolla C's pros and cons may not be as flashy as many other 2016 models, but its developer-friendly platform is more than noteworthy in our book.
