LG L50 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the LG L50, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

Do 0.3-megapixel (VGA) cameras still have a place on 2014 smartphones? LG seems to think so - they even kept the rear camera at a basic 5 megapixels. However, this entry-level 4-incher comes with an extra layer of safety, suited with a Slim Guard anti-drop bumper. It also appears to be a cheap ticket to access LG's signature apps, including the Knock Code locking feature, the Capture Plus screen-cap function and QuickMemo 2.0 notes/reminders. Its 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 4GB internal memory (512MB RAM) and 1900mAh battery is fronted by LG's proprietary UI v3.0 -- which might not be that bad for a mere starter class Android.
