LG Optimus Zone 3 Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the LG Optimus Zone 3, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

Though its specs aren't as out-of-the-box as we had hoped, the LG Optimus Zone 3 (initially carried by Verizon) potentially turns out to be a passable prepaid Android.

Its cons include a mere 854 x 480 (FWVGA) 4.5-inch screen, a basic 1.1GHz quad-core CPU with 1.5GB of RAM , and relatively low-resolution 5- and 2-megapixel cameras -- its selfie cam's Selfie Flash and Gesture Shot sound like pros to us, however, in the context of a lower-end device.

The Zone 3's strong suits, on the contrary, include its insanely-low SAR values (0.18 head, 0.13 body) and 4G LTE network connectivity , the latter being a must-have feature (as of 2016) that many similarly-specked models still pass up (but we are there to notice). Topping it off is only 1940mAh of power, which we would say sounds weak... but fitting for the mix of pros and cons that it puts on the table.
