Not exactly rising from its predecessor's ashes like a Pheonix, the LG Phoenix 2 still stays within low-end Android bounds, with cons like a basic 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and a middling 2125mAh battery among its specs.
That being said, it comes with an appreciable 16GB expandable memory as well as LG's trademark rear-keys-placement design (largely for ambidextrous use). Moreover, it offers a blend of HD voice and VoLTE (Voice over LTE networks) , promising to enhance overall in-call audio quality. Lastly, even though its processor is far from fresh, the Phoenix 2 comes with 1.5GB of RAM , whereas many of its low-end rivals settle for a dated 1GB capacity.
That leads us to conclude that, even though its array of pros and cons is not as mythical as its name, the LG Phoenix 2 makes for a decent 2016 budget-tier Android phone overall.
