Meizu M5 Review & Pros And Cons

Kicking off with the cons, the Meizu M5's specs include a polycarbonate shell , which feels rather cheap, compared to some of its semi-high-end rivals' metal housings. Additionally, it opts for a 5.2-inch HD-720p-only IPS display (instead of Full-HD-1080p), despite running on a 1.5GHz + 1GHz octa-core processor alongside 3GB of RAM . We also cannot help but wish that it captured 4K-2160p videos , though its 13-megapixel dual-flash PDAF FHD-video main camera is nothing to be shy of.

The rest of its pros consist of a 3070mAh battery promising up to 37 hours of talk time and a maximum of 66 hours of continuous audio playback . It also delivers Meizu's signature mTouch 2.1 fingerprint recognition system , with a respectable 32GB internal memory and a 2.5D-contoured cover glass tagging along.

Joining its pros and cons are a 5-megapixel f/2.0 selfie cam and some relatively fancy color options like Mint Green and Matte Black , topping it off it a reasonable performance- and stamina-oriented option for the semi-high-end Android shopper.
