It appears that Meizu is keeping up with popular high-end Android manufacturers, packing their fourth MX smartphone with some pretty fresh specs. The Chinese brand is obviously pretty big on performance, as the MX4 runs on an octa-core engine alongside a PowerVR G6200 GPU. We also like the CorePilot software that presumably speeds up core-to-core process switching. The up-to-433Mbps data rate on Wi-Fi sounds quite promising as well. Its cameras remind us of Xperia models (Meizu is partners with Sony), standing at 20.7 (4K) and 2.0 megapixels respectively. Perhaps they could have pushed RAM to a full 3GB (just like other premiums) and added memory expansion. Released under a casing stunningly similar to the iPhone 6, this new Meizu has a packed spec sheet bound to compete with other flagship phones of the year 2014.
