Practically just a Mini SIM card slot short of its Dual SIM version, the 2015 Nokia 222 still packs the pros and cons expected out a feature phone.
It offers mobile internet via the Opera Mini web browser, which is accompanied by preloaded apps like Facebook, Twitter, and GroupMe . The 222 also comes with an array of native games as well as a free 1-game download per month via Gameloft over its first year . Its remaining specs remind us of most basic phones, including its QVGA 2.4-inch screen , 16MB RAM , and weak 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera . We like its 1200-minute rated talk time , though, knowing that 600 minutes is the average (including smartphones) around its release.
At the end of the day, the 222 is neither a very impressive nor a disappointing non-smartphone pitch from Nokia.
