Nokia 230 Dual SIM Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the Nokia 230 Dual SIM, by Nokia

- Analysis by KJ David

Despite losing out on standby period (only 22 days compared to the single-SIM variant's 27), the Nokia 230 Dual SIM still brings back its sibling's dual 2-megapixel cameras , which is a significant selling point, considering that most older monoblocks have only one or no camera at all. Its 32GB microSD card slot and preloaded social networking apps (Facebook, Twitter, Skype) are nifty finds on a mere basic phone, too.

That being said, we would have loved to see GPS capability and 3G network connectivity on this phone, as these pros would make 2015 devices like itself more relevant. Nevertheless, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM satisfies our expectations (in terms of pros and cons) out of something bound to be a backup mobile device, which incidentally makes its two-SIM capability a welcome plus over the one-SIM variant.
