Samsung Galaxy Alpha Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, by Samsung

Was slapping on two quad-cores instead of a true octa-core processor the right choice for Samsung? We are not quite sure, but it does put the brand on the rapidly heating up octa-core Android market. Additionally, Samsung might have learned something from other flagships (HTC One, iPhone5, etc.), building the Alpha with a metal body as well. A few more of its premium-end perks are the 12-megapixel camera (4K video) and one of the fastest LTE Bands available - up to 300Mbps. That said, the 1860mAh battery is quite a drawback, we might have to see what the Ultra Power-Saving Mode can do about it. Even so, we might still be looking at the first flagship model outside of the S-series.
