- Analysis by KJ David
With only a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and a 0.5GB RAM , we were quite disappointed with the Galaxy J1's cons. Its 2-megapixel sub-cam was quite a letdown, too , but at least, it supports gesture-initiated selfies . A couple of its other pros are the up-to-128GB external memory support and the Ultra Power Saving Mode , which should give its 1850mAh battery power a slight boost on low power levels.
We found it easy to liken the Galaxy J1 to Samsung's Galaxy Y models a couple of years back, given its entry-level set of pros and cons and relatively low price point. We might expect to see the same trend for future J models.
