Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo, an unambitious spinoff model of the original J1, is infested by several ancient cons, such as a mere WVGA (800 x 480) 4.3-inch screen and a 5-megapixel CMOS rear camera that only captures HD-720p videos at best (a lot of its rivals are capable of recording Full HD videos). Its 2-megapixel selfie camera sounds disappointing as well, considering the popularity of 5-megapixel front-facing cams when it entered the market.

As for its pros, an up-to-128GB microSD allowance and 4G LTE connectivity are always welcome specs for any basic Android phone. Its quad-core CPU also clocks in a bit higher (1.5GHz) than most other low-end chips , though it sticks to a sub-par 1GB-only RAM .

With all those pros and cons considered, the J1 Ace Neo is by no means a new smartphone, and neither is it an ace in Samsung's deck of Galaxy J models.
