Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 Review of Pros And Cons

This 2016 edition of Samsung's Galaxy J3 strangely reduced the original model's selection of pros and cons.

Instead of an 8-megapixel Full-HD-video primary (rear) camera, it now sports a 5-megapixel one, capturing HD (720p) videos at best . Consequently, the first J3's 5-megapixel selfie cam was replaced with a sub-par (by January 2016 standards) 2-megapixel camera . This follow-up sticks to a basic 1.2GHz quad-core CPU as well, but at least it has a 1.5GB LPDDR3 RAM on board -- obviously more favorable than the 1GB capacities found on many similar models. Also favorable are the self-attributed battery scores, including a 22-hour talk time -- at least two times the usual for 2016.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 2016's pros include a 16GB memory , which is twice what its base model offered (8GB). Its specs list also consists of an up-to-128GB microSD allowance and 4G LTE connectivity, potentially putting it above most other budget-tier Androids, if only by a slim margin.
