Samsung Galaxy Rush Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Rush, by Samsung

Despite its budget price (retails at $150 upon release), the Samsung Galaxy Rush manages to mix in some decent features, including a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, and 768MB of RAM. That being said, we noticed that it only has 3G data and a 1000Mhz single-core CPU.

First, the Cons:

Smaller touch screen:

We hope you have small fingers, since the Galaxy Rush's touch screen has a smaller display surface to press on than many other smartphones. According to our calculations, it has a 5.88 square inch-display while

Small memory:

We are not very impressed by the size of the included storage memory Samsung put in the Galaxy Rush. On a phone like this, we would expect.

Sub-standard selfie cam:

In 2024, we would expect more than only 1.3-megapixel of selfie camera resolution.

Just a TFT?:

TFT displays are fine (they used to be the finest of the finest), but in such a high-end phone, we prefer AMOLED, or even SuperAMOLED displays, known for their better brightness in sunlight, richer contrast and lower energy consumption.

Unknown weight:

It's frustrating that we were not able to find information about its weight.

Now, the Pros:

Good battery life:

Samsung claims that the Samsung Galaxy Rush delivers 540 minutes of talk time. If it proves true in the real life, it will be a great advantage.
