Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Review of The Pros And Cons

Picture of the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, by Samsung

This smartphone sports features that certainly are above entry-level. We appreciate the dual-core processor and the two cameras (even though the main one has only 5 megapixels, the 1.3-megapixel front-facing somewhat makes up for it). One thing we noticed, however, is that this smartphone is 12.7mm thick, which makes it a bit bulkier compared to other smartphones.

First, the Cons:

Is there an HDMI port?:

The Galaxy Victory 4G LTE can record high-resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) videos. Bravo! But we couldn't confirm whether it had an HDMI port or not. HDMI, which lets you connect to an HDTV, is not essential, but would be great on an HD phone.

Below-average selfie cam:

In 2024, we would expect more than just 1.3-megapixel of selfie cam resolution.

No trace of a memory expansion slot:

Does it have any memory expansion slot? Despite our efforts, we couldn't find out.

Unknown radiation level:

It may be because Samsung didn't publish it or because we didn't find it, but we don't have the SAR rating (radiation level) for the Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, so we cannot say how close it is to the legal limit.

Unknown weight:

It's disappointing that we were not able to find information about its weight.

Pros:

Other notable features:

It has the following special features: Accelerometer, Data Tethering, Hotspot Capability, NFC

** This phone is also known as: Samsung L300, Sprint Galaxy Victory 4G LTE
