Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Review of Pros And Cons

This waterproof model's pros and cons seem to be a bit light on hardware, but do include a few nifty touches here and there.

The Galaxy Xcover 3 sports a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS TFT display -- not quite what we expected from the brand that made Super AMOLED screens popular, or are they just for artier Galaxy phones? In any case, this update to Samsung's rugged series does come with a specialized Xcover key (to quickly turn the flashlight on or trigger the camera) and the Knox 2.2 enterprise mobility application that might edge many of its middle class competitors out.

Perhaps it could have done better than 5- and 2-megapixel cameras , but the 1.5GB RAM and 2200mAh battery are certainly nothing to complain about.
