The Samsung Xcover 550 might need a few more pros to cover up its poor video capture (320 x 240, 15fps), but at least it takes a bit of pride knowing that a lot of other candybars do not own 3.1-megapixel CMOS sensors . Its IP67 dust-tight and waterproof casing gives it a slight distinction against many rivals as well. That said, its array of pros and cons could use a little more than 1500mAh's worth of battery power , as many other rugged phones boast power levels well above 2000mAh. Lastly, a 2.4-inch TFT screen crowning a classic tactile keypad sounds about right for a phone within the 550's price range.
The Samsung Xcover 550 is not without its flaws, but it covers enough bases to be a passable rugged feature phone.
