Ulefone Armor Review of Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Armored with a dust-tight, waterproof, and drop-ready IP68 shell , the Ulefone Armor is a high-level Android for those who want a phone to take to the extreme outdoors. Note, though, that its rugged housing makes it pretty weighty, at 195 grams (over 30% higher versus the average when it came out), and 12.5mm thick .

Looking past those cons (or should we say chinks in its armor?), it offers a 1.3GHz eight-core CPU , 3GB's worth of RAM , and a 3500mAh battery that regrettably scores a discouraging 6-hour talk time and only 300 hours on standby . It also delivers NFC (Near Field Communication) , mainly for mobile transactions.

As for the rest of its specs, the Armor's 4.7-inch HD-720p screen is guarded by a damage-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 layer , while a passable duo of 13- and 5-megpixel cameras are in charge of imaging. Lastly, it comes with 32GB of memory, which you can expand by up to 128GB , and standard (in this class) 4G LTE connectivity.

Summing up, for outdoorsy users or those who work in extreme environments, but are looking for more than a mass-tier set of pros and cons, the Ulefone Armor might have the right things in its armory.
