Vernee Apollo Lite Review of Pros And Cons

Powered by the MediaTek Helio X20 2.3GHz deca-core Tri-Cluster processor (10 distinct cores separated into three clusters, for process delegation) assisted by 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM , the Vernee Apollo Lite sounds like a surefire flagship-tier Android. That being said, we still caught a couple of minor cons within its high-class specs list.

Despite its 10-core setup, it sticks to a Full HD resolution (instead of premium Quad HD) on its 5.5-inch interface, though it does also feature a damage-resistant 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 finish . On a different note, its not-so-exciting 3180mAh battery capacity is not as high as we would have wanted, which is probably why Vernee put the Pump Express 3.0 quick charging technology in place (30 minutes for 50% of total capacity).

On the rear side of its metal unibody is a 16-megapixel 4K-video camera with a dual-color flash as well as a 360-degree fingerprint sensor . Sitting above its screen is a 5-megapixel sub-camera, while located on the bottom edge is a USB Type-C port enabled for lossless digital music output (it also has a 3.5mm headset jack).

To rehash, the Apollo Lite's arsenal of pros and cons is not exactly godlike, but deca-core Androids certainly did not come by often when it came out in 2016.
