verykool Maverick III Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

This 2016 installment of verykool's Maverick series sticks to a mass-tier specs profile, with its biggest cons being a mere 1GB RAM accompanying its 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and the absence of 4G LTE connectivity . Additionally, its 5.5-inch interface suffers from an HD-720p-only (instead of Full-HD-1080p) resolution , though it does sport an Asahi Dragontail tempered glass finish .

Other than a toughened screen, the Maverick III's pros also include an 8-megapixel 84-degree wide-angle selfie camera as well as a 13-megapixel LED-flash rear-facing main cam . For a model in this class, its 2800mAh battery sounds substantial as well, though its below-average 480-minute talk time caught us off guard, especially since many of its rivals score somewhere around 700 minutes in comparison. Topping it off are 8GB of storage as well as an LED indicator light for calls, texts messages, and other notifications.

In the end, even though the verykool Maverick III does not take many risks in terms of pros and cons, its chances of landing in the pockets of mid-level Android shoppers don't look that bad.
