vivo V3Max Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the vivo V3Max, by vivo

- Analysis by KJ David

While vivo still makes no mention of 4K imaging nor a Quad HD display , which we think its processing specs can ably support, the vivo V3Max is nonetheless an improved version of the original V3.

The aforementioned cons are counteracted by an enormous (by 2016 Q1 standards) 4GB RAM and a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 CPU . It also brings back its sibling's metallic body and fingerprint sensor , with a 32GB memory extendable by up to 128GB on storage duties.

On the multimedia front, despite not capturing 4K-2160p videos, the V3Max sports a 13-megapixel camera with phase-detection autofocus alongside a high-ranking 8-megapixel selfie cam . It also relies on a Hi-Fi AKM AK4375 audio chip for its music output, while tying its pros and cons together is a 5.5-inch FHD screen furbished with 2.5D-curved glass .

Summing up, though it misses out on a couple of premium features, vivo's V3Max ends up as a decent high-end 2016 Android in our book.
