- Analysis by KJ David
As hinted by its name (Note models generally have large screens), the YU Yureka Note stretches its base model's 5.5-inch Full HD screen to a full 6 inches , while also giving it a performance boost, in the form of a 3GB RAM .
That said, we still caught a couple of humdrum specs, particularly, a 16GB-only internal memory (lots of other 3GB-RAM models offer at least 32GB of storage) and its lack of a 4K video mode .
The above cons are met by a large 4000mAh battery capacity an eight-core 64-bit CPU running at 1.5GHz , and a dual-core Mali-T720 GPU clocked at 700MHz , all of which are familiar pros in the high-end Android department. It also offers a fingerprint reader , while a scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 panel ties all its pros and cons together.
To wrap things up, even though we think the Yureka Note is a bit lackluster in some aspects, its large screen and power cap make it a notable 2016 release in our book.
