ZTE Blade V7 Lite Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the ZTE Blade V7 Lite, by ZTE

- Analysis by KJ David

Despite rocking a slightly-smaller and lower-resolution display (5-inch HD-720p) than the 5.2-inch Full HD Blade V7, the ZTE Blade V7 Lite likely ends up in the same portion of the Android spectrum.

Its pros include an 8-megapixel camera that comes with a frontal flash , albeit it is limited to a fixed-focus capacity. Also, while it replaces the original V7's 13-megapixel PDAF main camera with an 8-megapixel one , the circular fingerprint reader on its back side likely makes a significant difference for this Lite edition. Additionally, despite having a quad-core processor instead of the V7's eight-core chip, the V7 Lite retains its mid-tier 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory . It also has the base model's 2.5D glass display finish .

So, the Blade V7's Lite variant may come with an observably-different mix of pros and cons, but it still sounds like a decent mid-tier Android specs-wise.
