ZTE Grand X 3 Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

ZTE introduced their first USB Type-C Android phone during CES 2016 in the form of the Grand X 3, though we expected more than a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and an HD-720p screen -- quite the mismatch for its 5.5-inch interface. Its 8- and 2-megapixel cameras also end up as cons in our book, considering that a lot of other mid-range competitors rock more-advanced shooters.

As for its strong suits, the ZTE Grand X 3 features Dolby Atmos audio , which likely gives it an edge over many comparable devices on the multimedia front. In addition, this 4G-ready model's specs are powered by a relatively robust 3080mAh battery .

In the end, the Grand X 3's pros and cons stay within the mid-tier Android realm, though its fully-reversible USB connector writes a better-than-average story for this pitch.
