ZTE's Rapido LTE would have been a clear-cut mid-ranger, if not for the 1.2GHz dual-core processor and mere 1-megapixel frontal camera slowing it down. ZTE also explicitly says that it lacks a mobile hotspot function , which is very weird for a phone that leads its array of pros and cons with LTE connectivity . A couple other significant specs of the Rapido LTE include an 8-megapixel back-facing camera as well as a 4.5-inch TFT Haptic Touch display . It also offers a decent 2070mAh's worth of battery power. Its 1.55 (head) and 1.59 (body) SAR ratings may be scary for some users, though, especially knowing that 1.6 W/kg is the FCC-set limit.
The ZTE Rapido LTE's pros step on the gas pedal decently, but its cons hinder it from being a particularly fast budget smartphone.
